A Kindness Tree

This activity will teach children's behaviour towards their peers and will promote respect and self-esteem. 

Activity Name: A Kindness Tree
Age group: 3 to 5 years old
Number of children: 10
Length of Time: 15 to 20 minutes

Goal of the Activity: Promoting emotional, cognitive development and social skills.

Objective of the activity: The children will be able to identify kindness and relate to it.

Materials Required:

o        Chart of the friendship tree

o        pre-cut heartshaped, flowers felt sheet of any color

Introduction: Greetings! Introduce the activity to the children.

Detailed Progression of the Activity: 

1. Have your children name ways that they can be nice to people.

2. Let them choose the pre-cut shapes of felt sheets and attach it to the friendship tree.
